History
The book, "My Father Maker of the Trees: How I Survived the Rwandan Genocide"
was authored by Eric Irivuzumugabe and published by Baker Publishing Group in 2009.
Upon the completion of this project Eric continued his course in promoting the cause
and ministering to the orphans of the Tutsi genocide. Part of his long range goals in
providing services for and promoting the plight of the orphans has included opening a
tourism company named Embrace Rwanda Tours . In this occupation Eric is able
to share his story and ministry with people from all over the world who have a heart for Rwanda.
"Embrace Rwanda Tours (ERT) Ltd"
Along with the newly created platform for sharing his story ERT will also provide
employment opportunities for the orphans. Many of these kids have firsthand experience
with genocide and understand the history and the future of Rwanda very well. As tour
guides throughout Rwanda they offer a much deeper experience for those who are seeking
to put a face on genocide.
